Last time we brought you a new website and logo. This time, we've got a redesigned magazine in HTML format! That's right, from now on we'll be publishing our issues in HTML to make it more accessible and faster for everyone to enjoy! What's the occasion? Well, it's our birthday!

In this issue, we treat you to a special surprise, as you can have a chance to win an awesome mercenary hero code for use in Guild Wars! We've also got an interview with Eric Flannum talking about music, dungeons and more in Guild Wars 2 and also ask him some more personal questions!

Of course our own writers came up with new content as well! Like what about an article about cake? We even included a recipe for you to make a Guild Wars cupcake yourself! Then there's also fanfiction by some of our writers who wanted to show another side of themselves. This includes a story about the beginning of GuildMag itself! We chat with Hunter from Hunter's Insight and Actionjack, known for his comic series about Guild Wars 2! We also received a submission about the myriad options for character customization in Guild Wars 2 and as always we also have the God of the Issue: Melandru!

Nice, congratulations on your birthday and on this new formate, you have always been extremely aesthetically impressive but the speed and lagginess of the pdf formate drove one to insanity. This is much more fluid and practical!

I think something went wrong there on our side. We planned to include an upload feature ourselves but since it took away the possibilities of a better contest form, we had to delete that option. Seems like it didn't translate into an edited text.

Let me get back to you in a moment...

EDIT: It's no longer required and we will not be judging on the pictures, so you may include it, but it will not influence our choice.

I have a problem submitting my entry, I click submit but nothing happens and I get a red message saying Only 200 characters are allowed. Is it 200 characters or 200 words?

It should be 200 words, let me check with the designers... I'll get back to you as soon as possible!

EDIT: Ok, I checked and he'll fix it within 15 minutes from now on. (6:40 GMT) Sorry for the confusion!

I never cared for the GuildMag, but I miss the .pdf version and it blows all the anti-Adobe hipsters have to ruin everything.

Is that because you'd like to be able to download it, or is it just because you prefer the navigation in adobe? Because I might find a way to let the former still apply for the magazine itself...
